Mac's Qualifications and Credentials

Mr. Mac Kotecha qualified as a chartered Accountants in 1977 (ACA). He became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 1983.

Prior to setting up Mac Kotecha & Company in 1985, he was a partner in Nathan & Co.

He has been dealing with dentists since his accountancy training days and now deals exclusively with dentists. This means he has a huge amount of experience and specialist knowledge in this matter, both of which you can tap into by becoming a client.

To qualify as a Chartered Accountant one must comply with a stringent training program as well as passing several demanding examinations.                                                                                         

There are currently only two bodies in England and Wales who produce "Qualified" accountants - ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.) We are on the official ICAEW Register of Firms.    

Mac has  lectured at VT Training Seminars for over a decade which aim to enlighten VTs with an introduction to Self Employment and the business world. He has also been involved with the section 63 initiative over the last two years.

In his capacity as a financial advisor, he has appeared on numerous occasions on the TV Channel - Network East - Breakfast Slot to answer viewers' queries.

Having been a Specialist Dental Accountant for so many years means he already has a wide bank of knowledge, but in addition, he ensures his knowledge is not stale by attending regular seminars and courses to update himself.

He has been an active member of NLSCA (North London Society of Chartered Accountants) for more than 10 years, in various posts. The aim of the NLSCA is to provide Continued Professional Development (CPDs) to qualified Chartered Accountants.
